Thumbs up Eagle Pack canned success

After having tried just about everything on the market and finding my 3 boys liked only Fancy Feast and Performatrin,I bought a few larger cans(156grams) of Eagle Pack and they love it.
So,since there is no more freefeeding dry, they split one large can 3 times a day and I feel soo much better
No more handfuls of Temptation for treats, instead I give them a few of the CSFCLS(chicken-soup-for-catlovers-soul) kibbles for treats,or cooked chicken pieces.

Glad the trio has something they like chico, Lukka's thinking those cooked chicken pieces for treats would be a good thing this household to observe as well

Thank's girls,I have a feeling though,I might be feeding them too much,or with not enough timespan.
They get a large can at about 6am,1pm and again at 6pm,so I'll try the last feeding a little later.
I also hope Vinnie is not going to get fatterhopefully not letting him free-feed on dry will do the trick

Lukkas mom,I think Lukka deserves a little cooked chickentreatsmind you, giving chicken treats to cats is very economical,I would imagine big beautiful Lukka would want a whole chicken

UPDATE!Here we go againno more Eagle Pack for my crew, cats are the most frustrating little critters.
Anybody want to adopt 3 kitties
Anyway,yesterday I bought 4 Wellness(no grain)cans to try,guess what,all of a sudden they LOVE it,we'll see how long that lasts..
I remember buying a case of Wellness a while back and they hated it,maybe the formula has changed??
Their tummies luckily do not object to a variety of foods.

Cats are such funny creatures. Mine can be picky with the wet food as well, I remember more than one occasion where I had to open 3-4 different cans to find a flavor they liked, ugh! There doesn't seem to be any trends so I am nervous every time I open a new can, that they won't like it. Mine like the Eagle Pack as well, at least, most of the flavors. Not sure if Wellness changed formulas, but I thought I heard somewhere they were bought by another company?

I've noticed that sometimes there is a little variation between batches of Wellness, usually depending on where it was produced (Canada or the US). What probably happened in your case, chico2, is that the first time you tried it with your cats, they were like "New food alert! Don't eat the suspicious new food!". But then this time, since they'd smelled it before (cat's appetites are mostly based on smell), they were more accepting of giving it a try.

As for getting picky again, my suggestion is to rotate brands and flavours as much as they'll allow. I can't give my cat the same food 2 meals in a row or he gives me guff. Some people alternate every other day, or a couple times a week. Try feeding the Wellness for a bit, then maybe give the Eagle Pack another go, then back to Wellness, see if that prevents the "picky-factor". Good luck!

SCM,I've always given them a variety of foods,I am thinking in human termswho'd want to eat meat-loaf every day
I just checked the cans and they are made in Canada.
I went back to the smaller cans, they just do not eat a large can..so they split a small can 3 times a day,at least they get an extra can at lunch.
