Salmon Bits for cats - okay for every day?
My cat, Monkey, gets a daily treat of Salmon Bits (it is 100% dried wild pacific salmon - no other ingredients or preservatives). Now the thing is that he REALLY likes them, and I mean REALLY REALLY likes them... and i am a sucker for that face so lately he has been getting this treat several times a day
I read that fish is not good for cats for daily consumption because of all the metal toxins, but this is 'wild salmon', does this mean i can give this to him every day? This should be quite healthy for him, because of the omega-3, no? Masha,

No harm in giving Monkey the salmon treats (and these are exponentially healthier than something like Pounce). Fish as a treat is fine, especially if it's wild caught. I think it mostly has the potential to be a problem when it makes up the majority of a cat's diet. So ya, they get a from me!
