Weak hind legs

So, if the vet does not have a solution to the weakness to our cats hind legs ... perhaps we need to accept that its just old age!?
Would a cat show pain if, say, one of its vertebrae was out of place/aligment?

What exactly has your vet done? Full blood panel? Urinalysis? Thyroid blood work?

No, this is not normal, it could be anything from anemia to arthritis.

The goddess also known as Hilda is a 15 year old cat and she climbs trees (she's allowed in the garden during day hours only at my parents) no weak legs so Love4himies might be right.
It's harder since our cuties can't speak and tell us exactly what they feel, where, how and when...

Cats can have a stroke like event in their spine that leaves them with limited to no use of their hind end, but does heal, and the cat regains all use. Have you had a vet do neurological tests to see if the cat knows where her back feet are? I would see a couple different vets to see if it is neurological, and rule out things like a spinal tumor, perhaps an mri, I would get to the bottom of what is causing this. Good luck!!
