New food

OK so Nero was just about out of food so i went hunting for wellness. At ruffins the main pet store i go to they only had three small cans of food, i asked and they had no more but then i see another food and it seemed like it had similar ingredients as Wellness. its called Max Cat. I got him the Lite kind. It is turkey and chicken flavour. The ingredients are Turkey broth, chicken liver, cod, beef liver, turkey, chicken, ground rice, carrots, potatoes, peas, Guar gum..those are the main ones..

Anybody fed this food to their cat? Is it a decent food? or should i look for a different one?

Max Cat is actually by Nutro. A couple of the flavours are okay, but I wouldn't feed the "lite" versions: way too many carbs (actually most of their line has too many carbs, but the lite ones especially so). The Chicken & Turkey one has a whopping 26% of calories from carbs, which is as much as many dry foods. If you can find the Chicken and Lamb, that only has 6% carbs.

ehhhh look for a different one. It won't matter for a few days but Nutro is on my poop list cause of the hidden recall things and also it's $expensive$ compared to other brands.

Well I probably shouldn't be criticizing them because Nutro & Max Cat sponsor my shelter!!
