Pregnant puppy??
Hello everyone,
I have a friend that lives abroad where the dogs are a little more wild and walk around freely. He has taken on a puppy about 8 months ago as a mans best friend to live out a long enjoyable life. He went out and brought loads of dog toys, a bed , a lead etc, to make the pup as happy as possible. She came into her first season about 4 weeks ago and now is finished but she is also swelling around her teats. My friend has been told after the deed had been committed that it is very unhealthy for a pup to have a litter after her first season? If this is true what options does my friend have? Looking forward to some reply's and hopefully an answer to this question!! Thanks guys https://www.easyprices.com/ Last edited by DL2017; January 22nd, 2017 at 10:36 PM. |

Has your friend asked a vet for advice? His dog should be checked over as soon as possible. If she's in good health, there may not be a problem if he's willing to take responsibility for any pups she might have. But she needs to be checked ASAP. If there's an underlying medical condition, your friend should ask the vet about ending the pregnancy.
