Boarding Kennels surrounding the Ottawa area
I am considering boarding my dog for the August long weekend and I want to make sure my dog has the best care while he is being boarded.
I wanted to get some feedback from other dog owners of their experiences at the kennels I have considered using. The following are options of places I have considered to board my dog: Eastway Kennels Bekkers Pet Care West Carleton Boarding Kennel I had looked at the website for gloucester boarding kennel, but I had read a couple of bad reviews so I really don't think I want to take my dog there, but I was wondering if anyone has had a good experience with them. There may be other boarding facilities I was not able to find when I did my search, so I would appreciate any new suggestions. Thank you |

Our dog was boarded at the Oak Meadows kennel on March Road in the west end of Ottawa for four days. John and Heather have been recommended from friends. Their house and kennel are located on a large piece of country and plenty of space both inside and outside the kennel.
They give treats and in our dog's case, they gave her cheese to help her take her medicine that she was taking for two weeks. Lucky really loved it there and we will be sending her there next time. The daily rates are reasonable and their location is easy to find, right off the 417,17 highway first exit when the 417 splits into the 17 and 7 |
