Gray scaly patch......

OK so now that I think I 've gotten the Megacolon thing under control(thanks to the help of many of you here) I've noticed that Tyler has a sort of round, scaly, gray patch on his left hip...it looks like the fur is starting to grow over it...it doesn't seem to bother him at all & it doesn't look infected or anything. Could he have gotten something from the vets office??.......I only noticed it a couple of days ago.....he hasn't been to the vet in almost 2weeks now.....just wondering if anyone has seen this before.

Hmm, it almost sounds like it could be ringworm. You might want to read this for more info:
http://www.cat-world.com.au/Ringworm.htm It can be quite contagious so a diagnosis would be a good idea, just in case.

I was afraid of that...I was researching it last night & it seemed to fit the symptons......can't take a chance so I guess it's back to the vet....after all those Megacolon visits....$$$$$$......, if it is ringworm I'm thinking he picked it up there, I know he didn't get it from home.
If it's not one thing it's another!!
Thanks for the info sugarcatmom
