Can 3d printing help our pets?

After hearing about what happened to that dog in Paris, I was really happy to see that their is a technology that is actually helping our pets.

Is anyone here familiar with this? It's called 3d printing and if I can make things for my pets, I would be in heaven! Here you can simply 'download' a file and then 'print' it out using a printer.

Very cool.
3D printing is a game changer and in the next 5 years everyone will know about it....because by then the price of the machinery and what it produces will be affordable.

@Marko Thanks for your reply! Yeah from what I hear, it sounds like something big. I honestly am just waiting for it to become slightly more affordable and easier (Not that tech savvy regrettably). Interesting indeed.
