Question Sick kitty. . Poor thing!

Long time no see! Havent been here much. .
So. . . I have a new kitty. . Heres the shocker! She isnt pregnant!. . How did that happen? Lol!

Anywho, heres the scoop, she is about 6, and i am sure has had nil vet care. She was here and great, a person came here that i come to find out has a sick cat. Now my new cat is having small sneezes. I am thinking rhino. The lady perhaps brought it over on her hands? Or this cat had it dormant, and the stress from moving here had it surface. . . .

Should i go to the vet now? Or can i watch and wait and go if we start getting dehydrated, or secondary infections (usually eyes) i know there isnt much that can be done except manage symtoms, then treat the secondary infections. . So what to do?

I am trying to increase water intake. Not stuffed up that there is noisy breathing, and sneezes arent in fits . . . .yet. . . .

The cat was cleared at the vet recently. . So thats another reason i am thinking its rhino. . But? So. . Should i suck it up and pay and go? Or wait a bit? Help!

That's a fine line, isn't it? Take her or not take her. At this point as you say they probably wouldn't be able to do anything for her anyway.
Could you maybe add extra water to her food and give her some probiotics to keep her system boosted. Plain yogurt will work if you have nothing else available. I'm sure you know all of that though. If she got worse with weepy eyes and nose then take her in.
I know how tough it is to come up with the money for the vet. I just had Brownie back in today. Can you say credit?
And how did you end up with one not pregnant?

How about supplementing her food with some L-lysine powder? 250-500mg twice a day. If she gets stuffed up, you could also do some steam therapy by hanging out with her in the bathroom while a hot shower is running (10 minutes or so).

If it were me, I wouldn't be taking her to the vet yet. They really don't have a lot to offer in the treatment of viruses and the stress could just make it worse.

Not pregnant , I thought you were the prego cat magnet

I agree with the others, wait it out and see if it clears on it's own.
