UPDATE: Sace and drinking

Hi Ladies,

I'm not sure what I have done differently because I have tried everything but Sace is drinking more water. He now seems to go over all by himself and will drink. This is very good news since I was having a problem for months that he wouldn't drink enough. Now I gotta keep and eye on the bowl to make sure it's not empty.

He is still on antibiotics for the UTI and has been for almost a month. I believe that the end of this week will be the end of the meds.

Now can you guide me as to what you may be using to prevent UTI's in your dogs. Sace is a Shih Tzu who will be 1 yr old on Oct 20th.

Thank you all again for the info that you provided me and the reassurance that we would be fine.

Cranberries? But these would be pretty sour. Good luck with you Shih Tzhu. He looks pretty cute.
