It's a go!

So got my surgery date for Gastric Bypass surgery.... Feb 11th!

I started an all liquid diet they tell you to buy and go on 2 weeks before hand but had a terrible reaction to it, so am following one I found online that is also supposed to shrink the liver (and actual food not all aspertame). I meet my surgeon this wednesday and will discuss it all with him then. Getting kinda excited and very nervous...had my orientation back in august, then 6 months seemed like forever, but now that it's here I could use another 6!

So I may have been busy and MIA for a bit recently...but while I'm off 4-6 weeks, you guys'll get sick of me!!!

I have been lurking as usual and you, your furries and families are always in my prayers!

Best of luck to you!

I had a Sleeve Gastrectomy done last April and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. I'm down 105 lbs so far and will be getting referred to a plastic surgeon in March.

Remember to get up and walk as much as you possibly can to get rid of the gas they use and remember to sip, sip, sip! You don't want to get dehydrated.
