Our little puppy was eating the cat's feces.... help
I couldn't believe it when I saw her in the cat litter, eating it !! Oh please, is there an explanation for this? Eewww. She'll also eat bunny poop if she finds it in the park and can sneak it in her mouth before mommy sees. Oh my.

Eating cat poop is normal for a lot of dogs - though yucky for us to see. Cats food generally has a lot more protien than their own food, and thus the cat poop 'tastes' good.

We call them kitty crunchies, although sometimes they are more like kitty tenders. . . . . . . .i use a covered litter box and have the door a few inches from the wall, kitties dont mind, and keeps out the dogs, my old collie used to love to chow on her cocker brothers fresh poo, so i would take her out on a leash and quickly pick up all poops. .

keep all pooh cleaned up, as others said, enclosed litter box that can even be kept in a room puppy doesn't have access to, outside teach your pup "leave it" doesn't take long to teach them and it saves a lot of headaches
