# of kittens

My cat just had one kitten - how unusual is this?

It's unusual but does happen, especially if the cat is very young herself.

However, are you sure there are no more in there? How is she acting?

Please have her spayed when her kitten is weaned. You will have to keep her in, because she can get pregnant again even while nursing.

Make sure that she is finished having the kittens sometimes when a cat is really young she can have problems and in that case she needs to be taken to a vet ASAP! If she is actting weird at all call and get her right in! How old is she?

My post disappeared again!

All I said was that there may be more in there and the cat should get to a vet.
