Unhappy Pustule on Vulva and comedones

My dog also had a red bump on her vulva that was pustular. It burst producing about 0.25 cc pustular material. Appears to be a pimple. My question is that I also noticed the development of comedones at the base of the vulva. Could these be causing the pimples? Also, she was started on estrogen 6 weeks ago for incontinence. Could this be causing acne? Or comedones? Not sure the estrogen was helping anyway...

You should always call your vet if your dogs get strange symptoms while taking meds. That is the vet job to tell you if the meds are causing pustule on vulva. You pay your vet enough money so made him or her work for it.

Agree with the above. But, one pustule, pimple, I probably wouldn't worry about myself. I'd clean it, use something non stinging to help dry it up. Keep an eye out.
