yummy dog biscuits

Tried this new recipe and my dogs and grooming customers love them:

1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
2 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
1 egg
1/4 cup canola oil
2 tbs. molasses

pre-heat oven to 375, coat baking sheet
combine oats, flour, egg, oil and molasses
stir in 1/4 cup water until combined
spread dough to 1/2" thickness on lightly floured surface
using 2 3/4 cookie cutter, cut out and transfer to baking sheet bake 10-12 minutes until dry and set.

I made these today, Molly loves them! I did have to add more water than it said. And instead of using a cookie cutter, I just rolled them into small balls then squished them. I plan on making more as XMas present for all of Molly's friends!

I tried this recipe. I used honey instead of molases and used more, as nothing was sticking. I also used more water. I had a hard time rolling the dough and cutting it.
