Puppy Classes

So, as you may have read, I'm adding a new puppy to my family in a few weeks. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of some good training classes in the Ottawa area? Just looking to see what's out there.

Seeing you're fortunate to be in Ottawa, I'd strongly recommend you get in touch with Dr Jennifer Messer at info@pavski.ca ( http://www.pavski.ca/contact-us.html ) and ask if there are socialization classes in your area that apply her Kinderpuppy curriculum. I recently attended a seminar she presented at and am extremely impressed with her program.
Other excellent training centers in the Ottawa area are: http://www.foreverfriendsdogtraining.ca/default.html and http://www.carolark.com/ .

You can always ask to sit in on a class and see which one you're most comfortable with.

Thanks for the suggestions, luckypenny! I noticed your suggestion about Dr. Messer in the other forum and did send an email to them about classes. I have actually heard of her before, since she writes for ModernDog Magazine - my boyfriend bought me a subscription for my last birthday! Hahah. I'm hoping I'll hear back from someone there soon. Meanwhile, I'll look into your other suggestions. Thanks a million!
