Introduce myself and Niuniu

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum. Glad to find a place to ask questions about pets.

I am in Ontario Canada. I have a 6-month-old golden retriever named Niuniu, in Chinese it means "my baby" girl. I also have a cat named Huahua, meaning "little flower" in Chinese. Huahua is 10 years old and she came from China.

I am not sure how to post a picture of my pets. Hopefully someone can help me.

Glad to be here. Hope we become friends.

Thank you.

Hi there, and welcome !!

I just posted a "recipe" for pics posting on http://www.pets.ca/forum/showthread.php?t=50691 so you can take a peak there

Just know that you have to have a certain number of posts in order to be allowed to post pics at all.

Golden and a kitty? Sweet We have 2 cats, a Golden and a Duck Toller mix ... all rescues, all great friends, sleeping, cuddling and playing together. The cats even drink water from the dogs' bowl while the dogs eat, no growling unless the kitten tries to taste the dog-food while one dog is still eating it! It's enough to tell him to back off though strangely, seeing the personality of the little sneak

This is friendly forum, with strong opinions on a lot of stuff, but a lot of good advise and when you need it too.
Hope you enjoy it and stick around!

Hi Sarah!

Thank you for the info, I will go take a look at how to post pictures. Hopefullly this site will allow me to soon! Do you know if they allow us to post viedo here? That will be lots of fun!

My cat has always been the queen of the house, but since we got the dog she is not very excited about it. At the beginning there are lots of hissing and scratching. Now things gets clam but still she won't let the dog get too close on her and she always perches on the top of the fridge. Anyways, it's getting than before!

Thanks again for the welcome!

Aaaah, a "marmelade" and white kitty your Golden puppy is so cute too!

You think that's a lot of snow? LOL, look for my snow posts somewhere on the pet photography forum ... in one, Sheba can't even see above the amount of snow on the deck, fallen basically over night! Hang on, let me see if I can find it real quick ...

Nr 1 is Dani (duck toller mix) and Sheba (golden) looking like they are fed up with all the snow too.

Nr 2 is Sheba sitting, smaller than the amount of snow!

Nr 3 is Spoutnik (white and black) and Misti (black and white) in the same little doggie house-bed, they have one bed each!

Ages respectively here, 3 years, 12 years, 5 months yesterday, and 1½ years.

Welcome to the forum!! It's a grand and wonderful place to hang your hat.
Just to let you know it is possible for pets to get along. I have a very mommy possesive 13 year old toy poddle who is not crazy about the 11 year old labx and the 6 kitties mom has brought into the house but they manage to all be in the same room, most times in the same area, without any problem.
Time and patience.
Oh, and your little ones are adorable!!

Welcome to the board, bluesunshine! Niuniu really does look like she's taking the cone 'in stride'. She must know how stylish she looks in it! The newest spring fashion, don't ya know?

Looking forward to hearing about all your furbabies!

I have never seen any pet that looked as not bothered by the e-collar as your Niuniu. That pic is just the cutest.

And your kitty is beautiful.
