I haven't been here as often as usual. warm weather, gardening, just hanging out outside!!
So I haven't really seen much (pssst someone please PM me and fill me in ) so I don't really know what's happening around here.

I did notice some tension and nastyness a couple of months ago, but that seems to have settled (Or maybe not, I just haven't noticed)

Lettin the cat outta the bag is a whole lot easier than puttin it back in.

Most of the stuff people worry about ain't gonna happen anyway.

I don't think most of the members purposefully set out to be rude or insensitive. And frankly imho, it is the posting reader, not the author, who is the final arbiter on whether they find a response is rude or insensitive.

i agree.........and if a persons mood is a little off well we get a negative response and that just fuels the fire so too speak.

Sometimes what may seem rude may just be a quick response, as some questions come up over and over.
Stick around and you'll see.
Especially when you get the "my dog/cat is bleeding out of (insert body opening here) what should I do"! OMG these questions come up so often, it's hard to be polite sometimes, especailly when we know many have died after these people have posted, and didn't even bother to take their poor pet to the vet:sad:

To bring it back on topic, in the end, I think a few members, important members, are resentful and bitter about all this. I know this has all left a horrible taste in my mouth. I'm tired of all the conspiracy theories. I don't MAKE anybody do anything. I do what I do and people do what they do. I didn't cause the disruption on the board and I don't like it when people imply that I did. Honestly, none of the regulars caused the disruption. Rather, we reacted.

And it's not like any of us did anything hastily either. We voiced our opinions clearly and frankly and we were not heard until it was too late.

That's the way the cookie crumbles. And then the dog eats it and everybody moves on into a new era.

This thread will now be closed at the request of the OP and many members.

PLease see today's global announcement that addresses some of these issues. http://www.pets.ca/forum/announcement.php?f=22&a=40

And when a member changes their own user title to banned user when they have not been banned - that does not express things clearly. That is devious.

Thanks to all who contributed to this rare thread honestly.

Sincerely,

Marko
