Question Info on rottweiler/german sheppard cross

Hi All,

Been looking online for months now for a new best friend and came across a male 1.5 yr rottweiler/german sheppard cross at a local shelter. I went an saw him today and the vist went very well. He's a good boy, very smart and is good with other dogs which is important as most of my friends and some family also have dogs. He pulls a bit on a leash but that's easily worked on.

Just wondering if anyone out there has experience with this breed of dog and can tell me more info.

Rotielover and a couple of others have rotties and quite a few members have GS's also I am sure they will be able to give you lots of info. Great that you are rescuing. Welcome to the board

Kel333,,i several years ago own a rottie/sheppard mix,,if this boy in rescue looks anything like my Storm then he's a handsome boy. I found with mine that yes he was extremely smart,,sometimes too smart..I will highly recommend obedience classes right off the bat and he is going to need lots of exercise..Trained properly you're going to have a wonderful new bestest friend and thanks for rescuing instead of buying..
