Oh chico -
Thought you'd like to see a new member of my Catuary. He came today. I think it will make you feel a bit better.
Introducing to the rest of you - Cheshire Oh, and he didn't come alone. I thought maybe he would settle a bit better if he had someone that he hung around with at the Bluffs. So - Bonnie These two are feral cats. They will allow you to get pretty close but will not allow touch - yet. Cheshire is around 8 or 9 years old. Bonnie is around 7 or 8. I am temporarily looking after them. If the SBs people manage to convince the marina to let them have a corner of the marina for a sanctuary they will be going back home. They are used to being there. For them it's home. If they don't convince them then Cheshire and Bonnie will remain here.

Oh yeah, to add to the excitement today - I looked over at the Catuary just before R&S left just to see this fella' sitting there.
He's been hanging around for the last month or so. I guess he figured he would take the plunge and climb the fence last night. One more to get fixed. FUN!!

awwww so sad looking, you can see the "beaten" look in his eyes, lets hope the marina opens a corner for them, will others from the same gang join these two if the marina ok's it?

Yes, if the marina allows then some of the others will be moving back. Just the most feral. A few of the tamer ones have found permanent homes already.

There will be one more coming probably next month because I had promised the older couple who had Astro and Venus I would take the calico they had also been feeding. It's a matter of getting there and getting her trapped. She has already been fixed. As for the other one - I guess he scoped things out long enough and figured life would be better on the other side of the fence.

14+ Bless your heart. I have been following the story of the cats at the Bluffs feeling totally helpless and look at you stepping up and opening the catuary doors for those in need...again! Amazing and what beautiful cats too
I am amazed that more aren't breaking into your place daily...it is a kitty resort after all!!!! All the best...

Thanks Di! R&S told me before they left I have a movie star now. Cheshire was the cat featured in Cat City that R was trying to net to get fixed. He didn't succeed - then. He has since.

Very similar features with Cheshire and our Bella kitty.
Bonnie looks a little sad but beautiful. Cheshire is also a striking little lad too. 14+, your stories and life experiences with all your kitties really do touch a soft spot in my heart. You are an amazing person with so much love to share.

Awww 14+,now you got me cryingsad and happy tears...I just loved that boy Cheshire from the moment I laid eyes on him.
I am glad he's with you, maybe I'll get to meet him,I sooooo wish I could take him,you have no idea He looks smaller than the pics from the Bluffs, but maybe it's just the pic. Is he in an enclosure with the girl-kitty or are they out with the others?? You must be running out of enclosures.. The other kitty who moved in looks like a real tom, reminds me of Tux,except this one was much smarter than Tux. Is he friendly??
