Need a good spraying antibark collar

I have a hound mix with the loudest bark in the world! The citronella spray collar from Multivet does great job of controlling it, but they keep breaking and I can't afford to keep replacing them. I've been using this collar almost a decade now. The first 2 lasted years. The next one lasted 1 year. The next 2 lasted a few months. The durability is getting worse while the price keeps increasing. Does anybody know of a similar product that lasts longer? I won't use a shock collar. I've tried the system that uses high frequency sound waves, but it doesn't work well and my poor cats have to hear it too.

Lots of views but no thoughts to share? Have others had the same experience with multivet collars? It worked so well to control his barking. I keep hoping that I can buy another one and it will last a while. But I have my doubts

Loki has a pretty big bark too - and when we have to stay in hotels with him during shows - we have to control it. We've never used the collar you've mentioned. We did, however, teach him 'Enough' and that gets the barking stopped.

Have you tried other methods besides this collar? In general, I'm not a fan of spraying collars - the spray lingers past the fact when the dog has stopped barking. Also - another dog barking can trigger the spray too

I don't like the fact that the spray lingers either. He didn't wear the collar often. I think it's important to allow him plenty of time to bark and do what dogs do. He really only needs it for car rides and meal times. In the car he barks at every car that drives by loud enough to hurt ears and it's very distracting! At meal time we have to keep him confined behind a gate because the baby hand feeds him (biting potential) and he licks his tray He barks though the entire meal loud enough that humans have to shout to hear each other. If anyone has other ideas on how to curb this behavior, I'd love to hear it
