Buckwheat flour

Does anyone use Buckwheat flour in recipes for dog treats? I have some, and hubby likes pancakes made with buckwheat, but I can't stand it. Buckwheat kernels taste sort of nut-like.

Found a couple of recipes on a website that call for buckwheat flour as an ingredient.

Curious to see if anyone has used it, and how did the dog like it?

Finally got around to making some cookies using buckwheat flour this morning.
Ody loved em, Gobbled them right down and wanted more.
Princess grabbed hers and took of to the bedroom, She has to eat all her treats on our bed.
Chappers my little snub nose, Did his usual and turned his nose up to them.

anyways, seems all in all they were a hit here

What recipe do you use?

I made some today... in the oven as I type. hehe

Mixed some boiled Brook Trout with some sardines packed in water, enough buckwheat to hold it together. Smells real fishy. Will see how they like it.

Best I use buckwheat for, is crepes, filled with something savoury and sometimes toppped with an egg. Yummy and healthy!
