Well I don't know how cool anyone else will think my pet names are... But here goes
Sola - means "charcoal" in Tibetan, she's mostly black Layla - after the Eric Clapton/Cream song Millie - she was super tiny when I got her, I thought it suited a small cat, but now she's beefy

Very cool. It's always interesting to find out the meaning of names. Here are what my gangs names mean.
Vladimir - Russian Means "to rule with greatness" or "to rule with peace", Oksana - OKSANA Ukrainian, Russian form of XENIA (Ancient Greek) Means "hospitality" in Greek. Maksimilian - Russian MAXIMILIAN Roman family name which was derived from Latin maximus "greatest". Kiska - Russian "pure" Czarina - Russian origin. Feminine form of Czar; the Russian equivalent of a female Caesar or an empress.

I actually named him Azrael because he looks like the cat from the Smurfs. The resemblance is uncanny. |

I always liked dogs named after foods.
Peanuts, Beans, Brownie, Butters (also after the Southpark character), Crackers, Biscuit, Ginger... I just think they're so cute! Of course, my dog's name is Leo - he was a rescue and came with that name - it seems to suit him, so we kept it. |

My dogs names are:
Jersey is a three year old chocolate lab (she is named after Jersey cows which are brown and/or Jersey Milk Chocolate bars lol) Serafina is a 1 year old chocolate lab and she is named after Serafina Pekkala from Philip Pullmans The Golden Compass and last but not least is Sheba (traditionally spelled Sheeba who was an african queen famous for her meeting with King Solomon) i decided to spell it with one "e" insted of two because she is spelled "she" and then i added ba to the end lol... Sheba is around one year old and she was a stray that i found and then adopted... she is probably husky/shepard and she is white with a black saddle |

My favorite dog name - "Freelance"
I'm hearing of a lot of "Google's" these days too. I wonder how long that fad will last. |

We adopted my border collie lab mix from the spca as a puppy. The name she came with was Jezebel. Needless to say, we changed it right away, to Echo.
Our kitten is named Moxie. The name says it all. |
