Lost Yellow Lab, Max in Cedar Valley, Ontario - FOUND

On the evening of August 11, 2010, our 4 year old, male yellow lab slipped out the door of our Cedar Valley home without his red collar (and tags). He does not normally enjoy being out doors without a human companion. He is a tall, muscular (about 84 lbs) but VERY friendly lab, and is terribly missed by our whole family - especially our 7 year old daughter. He answers to Max or Maxy and is intollerant to dog food or treats with grains/wheat in them.

He LOVES tennis balls and riding in the car. He went missing from the Vivian Road and McCowan Road area.

Thatch, have you called all the pounds, shelters, rescues, vets in your area? Even if there is no answer at this time, leave detailed messages on answering machines. You may even want to try the local police department in case they received a call about your dog. Visit all these places with posters of your pup and get as many up as possible on posts, bus booths, dog parks, store windows, etc...anywhere where they are highly visible.

Praying Max is reunited with your family asap .

Thank you!

Hi,
Thank you for your reply. All of the shelters are currently closed for the evening, but I have left messages at all of them, and have posters ready to put in the mailboxes as soon as my husband gets home (out late tonight - of course!).We live in a rural area, so there are not many places to post pictures, however I will visit the local vet offices too.

Thanks for your advice. I have pictures of Max, but not on-line anywhere. He looks like a regular male, handsome yellow lab - except tall.

Best regards,
Thatch
