Cats hiccups

Do cats get hiccups?

It sounds like my cat has hiccups, this isn't the first time. She was at the vet not long ago and he said all was OK but i'd forgotten to ask specifically about hiccups.
Any cures out there?

Hee, hee,... maybe she catches them from me, I get wicked hiccups!

I've seen a cat with hiccups once, and only that one time. Doesn't seem to be common in cats, it does look funny when you see it.

You could ask your vet what could be causing the hiccups, as for cures...I heard if you stand on your head and drink a glass of water.... Guess poor kitty just has to wait them out.

Poor kitty.
Actually, it doesn't seem to bother her too much, like you said, just looks funny.

I've run through most "human" cures but all are next to impossible with a cat -

Have to remember to ask the vet next time we're in...

Too funny

Cat hiccups. That's just toooo funny.

When one of my students gets the hiccups I sneak round behind them and scare the bejees out of him/her.

But I wonder if that might not put a crimp in the trust between puss and human?

Am going to search youtube for cat with hiccups.
