Anyone else have problem with Petfinder?

I have no idea what's going on. In the past week when I look at petfinder & select the size or age of dogs to look at, I just get dogs in the US even though I'm in Ontario. It makes no difference if I select national, regional or expanded. Anyone else have this problem suddenly? The only way I get Ontario dogs is if I leave the sex, age and size unselected. I've been looking at the cutie pies out there for a few years now and have never had this happen before.... Is it just me or has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks!

Maybe Canada has no rescue doggies left... Wouldn't that be a day of dreams come true...

It happens when there aren't any dogs left in your region. Sometimes it will show one or two from where you want, then the rest from the states or somewhere else. I find petfinder has a few bugs too, like always saving your choices, even though you have long since changed them!

Thanks Kayla! Actually it happens with any and all breeds so unfortunately I know there are a lot of them available in Ontario.... Oh well, hopefully it will be up and running more smoothly again, can't help but want to keep myself up to date with all of the sweeties!

I was looking at it last night, it took about ten times of registering the province, I think eventually the postal colde worked but I typed it in numerous times. When i did get what I was looking for I couldn't click on the pics, all in all a frustrating experience. Maybe Bryants NEW Ontario has gummed up the works

Not quite working yet

Petfinder is still down. I just checked again this AM and still got hits for small dogs in Florida..

I actually sent Petfinder an email. They have just changed something or other to do with their website and the Customer Service person who wrote me back said they weren't aware of the problem but would look into it and see what they could do to fix it asap.

that's strange. It is working for me always, with all combinations of searches. Have you guys tried clearing your cache recently? What browsers are you using. In firefox I am having no problems. Maybe it's an internet explorer thing?

It worked yesterday again but today it's back to it's old tricks. I did clear the cache memory thinking that's what it was, but nope, didn't help... I'm glad you e-mailed them, maybe I should too so they realize it's not just happening to one person.

I find that it does this all the time,.. I have been lookin on petfinder for another sheltie for like 4 months now, and it is ALWAYS giving me listings from outside of ontario, even worse, it will give me say 4 or 5 listings in ontario, then a billion in the US, then sometimes in between all that, i will get ones from ontario...

I find petfinder REALLY annoying to use.... Not to mention, it really could be upgraded to do more specialized searches..
