I never do rotate brands, I add different flavour canned food or cooked food with it though.

Another thing is that supposedly both rice and potatoes can aggravate arthritis in some dogs so since Horizon doesn't use either it could be a good option.

That's food for thought.......hmmmm.

I realize I'm a tad late to join this conversation - but I'd really want to know how much carbs are in this food (the Costco). If you look at the label, there is only one meat protein in the first 10-12 ingredients. I didn't count, but you have the salmon meal 1st, then the next time you see any kind of meat protein is another fish meal WAY down the list. While it's nice that it's grain free - grain free doesn't equal carb free and I'd bet this food has a ton of carbs. For myself, I'd prefer a few more meat protein sources before I'd consider feeding this food.
