Cost of Nature's Variety Instinct

I found an online website where I can buy Nature's Variety Instinct. I've been reading it's a good food and I was thinking Kira and Jadzia might like something different.

I can only buy it in cases (24 cans/5.5 oz). Prices vary from $73.99 ($3.08/can) for chicken ,beef, lamb to $94.99 ($3.96/can) for duck, rabbit and venison. Is this reasonable? At those prices, shipping is free but I still have to add taxes. Nature's Variety Prairie is less expensive: $59.99 ($2.50/can) for chicken and tuna, beef and liver, lamb and liver and $69.99 ($2.92/can) for beef + taxes+ shipping. Again, it's for 24 cans/5.5 oz.

Right now I am feeding them Wellness can (turkey, chicken, turkey and salmon) as well as homemade raw (chicken) and once in a while they get canned Eagle Pack. I buy Wellness online from Petacular and pay $37.99 + taxes + shipping for a case of 12 cans/13 oz. Unfortunately, Petacular doesn't sell Nature's Variety cans, only the raw.

There is such a big price difference!!! I couldn't find another online store that sells it so I can't really compare. To those of you in Canada who buy Nature's Variety, how much do you pay?

Thanks for your comments!

That is just a wee bit more than what I pay here in Kingston. I think I pay 3.29 and 3.69 for NV Instinct (plus tax 13% tax). It is going up again, but I don't know yet to what.

All the cat foods are going up in price. I alternately feed Eagle Pack and Wellness and Eagle Pack just went up 20 cents (2.89>3.00) and so did Wellness (3.00>3.19) for the big 12.5 oz cans
