clicker training

so ive been thinking about clicker training Bintu. ive read books about clicker training, but im wondering if you think its possible with a hedgehog. I know it will take alot of time and patience, but id be willing to try if you think it will work. i have seen videos of cats, dogs fish and birds that have been clicker trained.

Seems to work well with dolphins, dogs, cats and birds, so don't see why it wouldn't work with a hedgehog. Just have to give a scrumptious treat immediately after clicking. I'm sure s/he'll respond to it. Good luck! Give us an update.

yes it does work with hedgies, I used it on my very first one and her reward was a piece of mealworm, the day I realized it truly worked was the day she got out of her cage and vanished somewhere in the house, I clicked it in each room and when I went into our bedroom and clicked I saw the bedsheet move, she'd crawled up onto our bed and was under the covers *L* the funny part was , hubby was still asleep in bed with a hedgehog *L* I clicked again and she shuffled out from under the blankets and straight to me.

A HEDGEHOG!
Well I know for sure clicker training works on rats too so I don't see why not on a hedgie. You'll just have to find the right treat for yours I guess.

Yesh videos!!
