Good-Bye Yum Yum
I am sad to say that our loveable fat cat Yum Yum passed away on May 5th 2008. He was one month shy of his 2nd birthday. What makes it even more heartbreaking is that Yum Yum was my 13 year old son's cat and the day he passed was also the day I left the country. So my poor boy had to say good-bye to his mom and to his cat all on the same day.
RIP Yums. You are forever in our hearts.

So Sorry
Oh, I'm so, so sorry to hear about your precious cat. And your poor son, so young to have to face two difficult events in one day.
The hardest part of having pets is losing them, they become such a part of our families. Condolences to all. Shabby

I am very sorry for your families loss...It's so unfair how quickly our pets can be taken from us.

Thank you all for your kind words. He got sick the day I was leaving and when my hubby got back from dropping me off, he had planned on taking Yum to the vet but it was too late. I'm not sure yet on the details. My hubby did have a funeral for him. I'm hoping that helped my son a little.
