Question new to forum .. have questions

I have 2 papillons.. my female is in heat, this started a few days ago. they are playing well and he is trying to mount her, but she runs and gets away .. is that normal ?

Sorry, but as DM just said please read that first, there are not many people that are going to be willing to give you advice about breeding dogs. Most of us are involved in rescue and fostering and choose to spay and neuter our dogs. If you are a registerd breeder than the best place to go will be your mentor, and the breeders that you got your dogs from. Usually questions like this make people think that you are not experienced and might set someone off.

I am sure people would love to talk with you, and see pics of your dogs, but no one wants to support bringing more puppies into the world that should not be, I don't know if you are breeding, or want to, but I will just say that I really think it is time to get your female fixed..
