Luna and Elvis.
We said goodbye to Luna after a long battle with cancer on May 15th. She lived a year after her diagnosis, and at the time she was only given four months. She was the best dog that I've ever known and I will miss my canine soul mate.
Elvis took his freedom into his own hands and flew out the door in February... Cold, cold February. I haven't even had the time to process any of these feelings because we had a baby in January. Now that life's calmed down a bit and is more routine and normal... All the sadness I've been bottling inside is seeping back into my thoughts. I'll see a feather that Elvis dropped, or an old toy of Luna and Suzie's - it's heart breaking. While one aspect of my world has been filled with joy, another has been ripped apart and sits vacant. In a four month span, my furry family was reduced from five to two. RIP. Elvis Luna Suzie |

I am so sorry for your furbaby losses. They have gone to the Bridge to scamper and fly with the others that have gone before.
On another note, you have been blessed with a skin kid! Congratulations! You know we like pictures, right?

My heart aches for you, .unknown. I'm so sorry for your recent losses and sad that Luna has finally lost her valiant battle.
Congratulations on the new addition, though!

So sorry to hear about your losses, it's hard to lose our animals, they each hold such a special place in our hearts. You will always cherish your memories and each of them will wait for you at the bridge. You will see them again. THat said, yes you have been blessed with a skinkid! How great is that. As pbpatti said, we like pics of skinkids too you know... Stay strong and remember the happy times.

Unknown I am so sorry for your loss. It is certainly never easy. You have all those wonderful memories in your heart to go back an reflect on and that is special. Be sure to know that they are running free of pain at the Rainbow Bridge waiting to be reunited with those they love so dearly.

Thank you, everyone. This summer is kind of a bummer without my dogs. I'm especially sad because on maternity leave, we could have spent even more time together. oh well. Luna is no longer in pain... Suzie's life might have been a miserable battle with Addison's Disease, too.
Anyway, Here are a couple shots of our little girl: |
