Eye concern

So here we sit it's 7:15 pm I just called the knowing they'd be closed but figured I'd try anyway. I'm calling first thing in the morning. So I was cleaning Porsha's eyes this evening and noticed a growth I guess right on her eyeball. It is pinkish in colour not very big but is right on top and is quite attached. Just worried and concerned and curious if anyone else had something similar.

Is it on the sclera (the white part), the cornea (the clear spot over the pupil and iris), or on one of the membranes of the eye?

Our Macie had something similar on her sclera--just a pinkish round mass, fairly flat. Turned out to be a bit of overgrowth of the blood vessels. We were referred to a veterinary ophthalmologist and he was able to laser the growth off. It hasn't grown back and that was many years ago.

that it's that simple a fix for your Porsha, as well! For sure call for an appointment in the morning--eyes are too precious to mess with.

Yes, it might very well turn out to be a slight bump caused by an injury. I have one of those myself. Lucky for me it is not over my pupil and does not impair my vision. I do have to have my soft contact lens on that eye just wee bit smaller diameter so it doesn't rub on the bump.

Our ESS had something similar after hitting the wire of a fence when running. The Vet dispensed drops, it receded but did not go away completely, she actually ended up with a bit of a flat spot there instead of the initial bump. But she was fine.

Yes, see the Vet. Hope it's nothing serious.
