HELP ME, PLEASE. MY Dog wont eat!!!
Im dogsitting this dog for his owners while they're away for a few months. He is 1 year and 3 months old and is a toy poodle . His problem is he wont eat. It's been that way for a long time. His owners always spoiled him and handfed him. I am bloody-tired of handfeeding him and I need some advice. I tried Wet food, I tried Dog food. The only thing he'll eat is some treats and he always begs for human food but I don't want to give him any because I strongly disapprove of feeding him human food. I really need help, I practically waited for an hour while he just sat there staring at his food. Ive tried everything I can think of, I put him in the bathroom with only his food for 20 minutes, I told him to sit there while the food was in front of him and basically everything else. Please answer back,

do his owners feed him human food? Cos well i think that if that's what he's used to(even if it's bad) you have to do that. Changing foods especially with picky eaters like him takes time and it's a gradual process.

you can feed human food that is still healthy for dogs. boneless chicken, without spices or sauces will do. if you are insistant on getting the dog to eat dog food try adding tripe to it

Make sure it's the canned (dog food) green tripe and not the white (human? ) stuff available at the supermarket.
