I agree, it looks beautiful, but please keep it East of the Rockies. That said, Shadow and Halo love the snow, and I truly do want Shadow to have at least one more good romp in the snow before her days are done. It just turns that old girl into a puppy.

I am north of you pbpatti, in a work camp halfway between Edmonton and Fort MacMurray. We have the same thing going on here! Puts a halt to work! Grr. We actually saw snow up near Wabasca for the first time about 4 weeks ago!

nooo Mastifflover, I cannot keep this beauty to Alberta/Edmonton only I like to share so your turn is coming soon.
L4H, The earliest I remember having snow here was the year DH and I married, we got married on oct 12th, raked leaves on the 15th and were socked in for the rest of the winter by the 18th...might have been earlier, i'm getting old and the memory is going
DD, Hopefully Shadow will still be able to romp in the snow this season.
Hazel, don't worry you will see the white stuff soon too.

I know we could never get that lucky to not to get hit with the white stuff. But Clark likes it and it used to turn Buddy into a total goof playing snow plow and snow angel. I hope Shadow enjoys the snow when it gets here.

While your pictures are very pretty PBP, I have to agree with L4H!

You can keep it on the west coast just a bit longer please.

I just heard on the news a couple of weeks ago that our area is going to have its worst winter in 55 years.

I sure hope they're wrong.

When I lived there, there was snow for Halloween one year and it stayed until spring. I am thinking 1997 or 98 . I was in shock after moving there from Kingston ., then the next year is was nice and warm until Jan 1 .

I have a feeling we are in for a cold early winter, hopefully it warms up quick in the spring tho, that will be the only thing that could redeem it...

That looks so nice. I wish some of that would come down here. Dang it, I don't care what you all say, it's friggin hot and sticky down here! You shouldn't have to feel like you need a shower every time you leave your house just to run an errand. Bah!

I've heard also that in the West anyhow we're in for a colder and snowier winter than normal. Of course that said I never even had to take out my winter coat last year, so it wouldn't take much. Shadow says thanks for the wishes, God willing it's in her plan to play in the snow again this year! Funny how the dogs just love the stuff isn't it. Well that's because they have 4 paw drive to get around with.

I don't want the snow, but I really want the cold that comes with it.

Without snow, cold is just...well....cold. You need a little snow to make it beautiful and...um...interesting...yeah, interesting, AG! Just say the word and you can come up for some leaf-hauler sledding when we finally get some of the white stuff
