help get kitten out
Ever since yesterday, I've had a stray kitten in my family's breezeway. He's too scared to get out, and he's taken refuge in my dad's studio. I thought he came down a few times, but he always runs back up when I try to get near him. Once I thought he was finally down, and I closed the door to the studio to keep him in the breezeway. Unfortunately, I suppose I didn't close the door all the way, because when I looked out at him this morning, he ran back upstairs. I've tried to keep Ambre apart from him, since he doesn't like strangers, but they saw each other. Fortunately, Ambre was very civil; he just looked at the kitten and then went back inside. How do I get this new kitten out? My family also takes care of several feral cats, and they're all used to us. This kitten is a new one to us. How do I get this kitty to leave?

A local animal shelter may be able to help with a live trap. They often loan them out to people trying to catch ferals for TNR programs.

Kitty's out...I think
I think the kitty is out. He might have left with the cats who come in. Anyway, they all move so fast that you can't keep track of them. But so far I haven't seen or heard anything from him. I'm still going to keep an eye out for him
