Meow, I love that picture of Simba, and I hope that you don't mind, I would like to save the picture as part of my screen saver. Thank you, and again, she is such a beautiful cat.

Thank you for thinking I am a beautiful kitty. Sometimes I feel ugly b/c of what that bad bad vet did to me. My mommy tells me I am beautiful everyday. The way she says the word be-u-ti-ful makes me purr and roll on the floor to have my belly rubbed. I believe my mom and now I believe you too. Love, Simba

Simba, never, never feel you are ugly. You are a beautiful cat, and what that vet did to you is unspeakable, always know that you are beautiful.

Your mom is fighting the bad vet for you, you just have to look pretty like you do. Give your mom lots of cuddles.

????????

It's bad enough that humans lose their teeth but animals? Well first time I'm hearing of this. It's so unfortunate that your cat had to lose her teeth..

the post is far from old. it is an ongoing saga of my cat being ABUSED by a BADVET vet and needlessly removing all her teeth!

Just read the whole thread and I am so sorry for all the pain and suffering you and Simba had to endure this year. She looks very healthy in the new pics... much better than she did in the beginning. Thank you for keeping us updated on everything that is going on with her. You two are troopers and I am proud of you both.

How is she doing on the wet food? Any better? Its so funny, my cats are generally the opposite. They won't eat dry food if they get any wet food. My Minnie (RIP 9/3/93 - 8/18/09) would go on hunger strikes if there was tuna anywhere in the house. She would flat out refuse to eat the kibble for the rest of the day if you made a sandwich.

In the end, she wouldn't eat anything but wet food, but kept losing weight. Rather than put her through hell with numerous visits to the vet, we let her go in peace before the pain set in too badly at the ripe old age of 16. I am so glad her vet was amazing and has saved many lives within my family unit. To hear of a vet treating animals the way they were being treated by that shmuck is beyond my comprehension. I can't even understand why anyone with that level of loathing for animals would go through the necessary training to be a vet. It's harder than being a doctor. It makes more sense to me for a vet to dislike humans for all the horrors they put animals through... but not the animals.

It's people like him that reinforce my attitude that animals are far better creatures than humans. Working at a rescue, I see this first-hand every day. Thank you... all of you... for the love and devotion you give to your animals. It's so refreshing to see that there are still humans out there that see their pets as just as important as themselves. I was starting to lose faith in the human race.

Hugs and smooches to everyone.

I completely agree and am praying the vet board takes away this monster's license. It is animal abuse, plain and simple and to think he charged me to do animal experimentation on my precious simba! I hope there is justice for my little girl. I think animals are much better than people too. I am not liking human much these days.

Thank you for asking about my baby. She eats about 1/2 teaspoon to one teaspoon of wet a day. She meows for it but won't eat more than that. I throw more away than she eats but I won't to get the wet in her.

When Minnie was losing weight (hunger strike many years ago), the vet gave us this paste that was a high calorie supplement. I'm not sure about how that would affect a CRF cat, but I thought I would throw it out there if you guys haven't tried it yet.

Minnie loved it and it was super easy to give to her. When she was first starting to get used to the taste (supposed to taste like tuna, but I'll never know), we just put a dab on our finger and smeared it on her lips or the roof of her mouth.

I don't have any experience living with CRF. By the time we noticed anything was wrong with Minnie, she was too far gone to fix. Just a suggestion.

Oh! Any news on when the new court date is?

no just one tree for all kitties simba only got a tree this year b/c of her nightmare last year and she deserves EVERYTHING now! I love my kitty!
Wrote some letters to some places this weekend. 1 to the state VMA asking them to notify every vet in the state of their error listing the jerk as a dental specialist when he isn't. they had been asked before. i have no objection to suing them too so we will see what happens.

my other letters went to headquarters of the office of civil rights regarding same said jerk.

my Simba will get justice.
