There's a draw-down box above the pics that lets you select 'most popular', Winston--pull that down, then she's in the first spot, making it easy to vote!

She's got a great lead. We have to keep that buffer.

I tried to vote but it doesn't look like it "took." Do I have to become a member at that site first? It didn't say I did.

I hate to rain on your parade, but isn't this a contest for party pets? All the other animals have costumes or are at least in party settings. Yours...isn't. Sure, Simba is gorgeous, but doesn't suit the competetion. Even if she does get the popular vote, I think the magazine editors will pick the next pet that actually is dressed up.

This kind of reminds me of the Stephen Colbert thing. There is a prettiest pet competetion that was going completely normal. Then someone entered a pet named Colbert el dos. Someone posted the link on the Stephen Colbert fan site, then that dog shot straight to first place. People voted for the pet based on it's name, not on actually being the prettiest.

But, that's just my two cents.

There are several photos of pets with no costumes or party gear. I'd like to think that the site will consider pets who have the most votes, even though they are not in costume.

Keep voting people, you never know the final decision of the judges. People vote with their eyes, and yes she may not be wearing a costume, she is the most popular. I know many people here have voted several times, but she's at over 1000, so I'm guessing she's got votes from people outside this site as well.

Yes, I am able to see the "Vote" button. I click and the only thing that happens is Simba's photo fades out and is gone. It doesn't seem to like my vote. What happens when the rest of you vote? I would assume you would get some kind of confirmation? A thank you for voting? I get nothing and the vote count does not change.

So what. doesn't mean I should not try. IF we win i get to tell my story to a news magazine. THAT is worth the effort!

I am not a pessimist and neither is Simba!

meow, are you sure the prize for this contest is to have an interview? All I can see on the contest is that the prize is a professional portrait taken at your home...
