Wolf Hybrid?
We recently acquired a dog from someone who was/could not take proper care of him. They were a young couple and could not afford him, and one of the owners was 'rough' with him. They told me he is German Shepherd/Wolf Hybrid. I know nothing about Wold Hybrids. Is there any way to tell if this is true? He is very large for his 6 months, very long limbs and strong. He is mainly black with white on his chest and a white stripe up his muzzle. He is a very nice dog. Has some spots where he is losing fur, he has been treated for fleas so we think it's a food allergy.

I know nothing of Wolf Hybrids, just wanted to say thank's for taking him out of a bad situation.
I believe there is a rescue for these type of dogs,I seem to remember we talked about it before..

Chico2 - I know of no rescues for hybrids and I know so many rescue organizations.
Some people like to claim they have a wolf hybrid so the only way to know would be a DNA test I would think. To be honest I hope it is a mix of dog breed because I am unsure of the legalities of owning a hybrid. Thank you to the OP for helping this dog. |
