Unhappy EVO - Not in Quebec Anymore?

Yesterday I went to load up on canned cat food - I noticed there was no EVO food anywhere. The store owner told me that EVO (and I guess all Natura foods?) are no longer available in Quebec. Something to do with label translation or something.

Can anyone confirm this? I checked the Natura website and there is no mention of it.

EVO canned chicken & turkey is one of Abby's favourites and if it is indeed no longer available here, well, now I have one less grain-free option that does not contain eggs or egg product (she's allergic). Damn.

I emailed Natura Pet and yes, it's confirmed that they can no longer sell anything in QC due to translation issues. That includes the following brands : EVO, California Natural and Innova I believe.

I found a pet store chain out west that carries EVO and ordered 24 cans of chicken & turkey this morning, huzzah! Should be delivered by the end of this week.

Not being able to find EVO in Quebec has to do with labelling requirements and nothing to do with a recall.

I live in USA and some pets stores will stop selling any pet foods that been recalled. I know it has to with the labeling requirements , I can read too , I was wondering if the recalls had anything to do not being able to buy the brand .

My shipment was delivered Thursday (yup, labels all in English. Bad, bad English!). Glad to have some stock in the house for the first time since last Winter.

When Abby was growing up she snarfed this stuff down like there's no tomorrow. Put some out for dinner last evening and she only ate a bit then walked away. Go figure. Maybe she just wasn't that hungry. I'll put some more out this evening.

Could you try mixing the EVO with the food Abby been eating and see how that work?

You may want to take Natura products off your dogs diet, they were bought out by Proctor & Gamble, makers of crap pet foods.
