Siamese cat lost in Pointe-Claire, QC ~~ KILLED

Although we haven't seen the body it appears clear from various reports that our beloved Sam was hit by a vehicle on the evening he disappeared, on St-Jean blvd around 8:45PM, and was promptly picked up by public security.

We got him as a two-month-old kitten. He grew up to be an absolutely adorable friend, one that would always be around while gardening outside or fiddling something in the workshop. He amazed us with his skills at climbing high trees to the tiniest branches. Although we knew the routine by heart, he was still making us laugh each time we saw his face and front paws on the kitchen door's window ledge, high on his hind legs. He was fond of playing hide and seek with us, in a funny manner that could not make us angry. He took medication drops in the ear or in the eye without even a flinch, a sharp departure from our experience with other cats. His nails were the sharpest, but he never used them maliciously, even though he could have shred our faces or hands many times during play fights.

His life was short but he lived it to its fullest. Not enough can be said about the good time we had with him. Good bye.

LOOKING FOR OUR LOST CAT

Our very friendly siamese cat Sam hasn't been seen since Wednesday evening, June 22nd, 2011. He lives in the Cedar Park area of Pointe-Claire. We think he might have been abducted during the night. In case he's trapped around, make sure you check all your sheds, garages and other possible entrapments because he likes to sleep a lot during the day, he becomes active after 7PM.

He's a sterilized male, age 18 months, not declawed, playful, curious and easy to approach. His fur is light grey, except for the face, the tail and the feet which are dark grey. The nose and the paws are black, the eyes are blue. He weighs 12 to 13 pounds.

We miss him a lot, reward promised.

If you haven't already seen it, the following is an excellent thread that might give you a couple more ideas on things to do when a cat is missing:
