Question Denamarin vs zentonil advance

My 6 yr. old yorkie has been diagnosed with liver disease while we are wintering in Florida. She was a very suck puppy before we got her on the proper medication. She is now on Denamarin, Lactulose and Pepcid. I called our vet in Canada who tells me Denamarin is not available in Canada and she uses Zentonil Advance in its place. We finally got this puppy feeling "right" again after several visits to the vets and specialists here and we are really afraid ti "change" meds. Can any one advise me as to the difference in these two meds, or should I just take six months supply of Denamarin back with us?
