Unhappy Just found out the cat I have had forever has cancer...

My mom sent me a text this morning saying that our older cat (we have had her for over 10 years, I couldn't tell you how old she is to save my life) has cancer and only has about 6-9 months left with us. About 3 weeks ago they took the biopsy of some of the lumps we found in May in her belly and we just got the news today. I'm not sure if my sister knows, but this is going to be really really hard for her. How should I console her, because she cried every night when she couldn't live with us and that was only for about 3 months? ...This is just a huge shock to the whole family...

So sorry to hear about your cat

Just listen to her. Let her get all her emotions out and offer your help and to be there for her when she needs you.
