My puppy is going nuts!

Simba got neutered on Friday (6 days ago) and hasn't gone on anything more than a short 5-10 stroll (more like freakout on a leash) since then, as per vet's orders for surgery recovery.

Wow... I have never seen him acting out so much. He usually plays for 1 hour in the morning with his off-leash park group each morning (including a river to jump in) and gets a good 2-4 mile walk in the afternoon, spending the rest of the time sunbathing on the patio.

Poor kid. He isn't allowed to go back to his play group for another 4-8 days. He's trying to steal shoes (has never done this before), toilet paper rolls, chewing on posts, etc. I always thought my dog was strange because he didn't chew like other dogs, but I guess that is the result of boredom.

don't worry it will pass when he is able to go and play again. For the time being why not give him a frozen kong for the chewing??
