Lucy!

Subtitle: Cats and Sewing Machine Bobbins Don't Mix.

I know Lucy is fascinated by my bobbins so I have the drawer they're in fastened closed by a wood working clamp. I arrived in my sewing/laundry room more than once to find spools and bobbins and trails of thread all over. My Vet said he'd once had to amputate a cat's tongue as the thread wrapped around it and was there too long to save the tongue.

So my spools are in snap tight plastic bins and the bobbins are in the drawer with the clamp to prevent it being opened.

Well, it took her a couple of years but Lucy has figured out that if she can wiggle her paw up the side of the drawer, over the edge, into the section of bobbins and pull them out. There were four on the floor this morning. I'm sure it was Lucy but once she gets them out the other two play with them too. I'd like to see this in action, I wonder if she goes at them from the top of the desk or from underneath?

Luucccyyyy, you got some 'splainin to do.
