Puppy stolen at the SPCA Monteregie

Please keep a look out for this puppy! She was STOLEN from our shelter on Monday, October 11th; we are very worried about the lady's state of mind who took this dog and are afraid so won't take good care of her! Shelters should require some piece of ID, or car keys to be held if people are going to interact with animals, atleast that way you have a method of tracking the animals down.
Someone from the shelter needs to contact the news, it will be the best way to reach the masses on this theft.
Hopefully the pup is looked after well in its absence

I read about this. So sorry that this has happened. Hope you locate the pup. Any idea what municipality this woman is from?

I remember, quite a few years ago, when the Laval SPCA was still in operation, I was filling out forms to become a volunteer. I was told that dogs were being walked by "potential" adoptors and they got stolen. You have to get peoples' licence plate nos. or just keep their keys, while they are taking the dogs for a walk. Do they have a description of this woman? Definitely a newspaper should be contacted, a.s.a.p.! Poor puppy, may be sold to a research lab!!

I hope this dog is found safe and sound. I do have one question though. Was this a volunteer? If you are worried about an individuals state of mind, how come she is not closely watched or even supervised when she is in the shelter? If she is a volunteer and walks dogs, why is she given premission to walk dogs, if her state of mind wary's everyone. If she comes in looking to adopt, (even though you probably would not adopt to her, because of her state) she should be closely watched.
