Newest rage in Russia, tattoos on cats.

This is crazy. I don't even know where to start. Use rub ons if you want them decorated, but I find this wrong.

Tatts on Cats?

Newest rage

OMG, surely these people have too much spare time on their hands and how would this not be considered cruelty?

Nice tattoo...for a human that can make an informed decision about whether or not to subject themselves to something painful. For an animal...completely unacceptable. If the owner wanted to get something to symbolize chaning times, she should get it herself.

They should all be charged with animal cruelty. Not likely to happen though.

that is just sick. they probably think that it is ok cause they sedate the cats, but that has its risks too! why would you risk the death of your beloved pet just for a picture? and anyone who has had a tattoo done knows that the aftercare is work, and depending the sensitivity iof the area, can hurt after too. do they have to put the cone on those cats during healing so the tat can heal? what a bunch of extra work for the owner and discomfort for the pet!

Unfortunately, from reading the article, it seems animals have little in the way of rights in Russia.

Yes, I've seen photos on the internet of cats with earrings.

Piercing have been done for a few years now BM. Talk about humanizing animals. First dying their fur, then piercing, now tatoos. s!!

I agree this is wrong

What's next is right...people are SO messed up..... perhaps botox for cats, what about breast implants?

I'm sure that tattooed cat says "just kill me now" when it looks in the mirror.
