Wish me luck..
Wish me luck, I get up in front of our local council tomorrow night, and put my case for a dog park in our town. We at the moment make a 14mile round trip to the next towns dog park. With a population three times the size of the next town and umpteen parks, fellow residents have said we need our own dog park, so "yours truly" has been nominated to speak/beg for one lol
There is nothing quite like seeing your dog run free and socialize with other dogs, Beau always has mega fun, so wish me luck, Ill update and let you know how it goes

Good luck!
The only time I ever went in front of town council was to present my proposal for providing a goose control service to the town. It went well, I got the job. Hopefully your luck is as good as mine

Thank you all for your well wishes
it all went ok, I got up at the podiem and read my little speech. I put forward all the positives for the dog park, the idea had already been put forward by a bench member I contacted a few weeks ago, but he wanted me to get up and say a few words on behalf of the owners and dogs in our town. It seemed pretty positive, apparently another town near us is getting one, and the board member said this is really taking off in other states with leash laws. I have to contact them in a week or two to find out if it was accepted, I'm really excited will keep you all posted xx

i hope they pass it!!!! The puppers deserve it. There are many people that woulnt take their dogs out or socialize them otherwise. It is good that people are starting to see the benifits of having a place where people can let their dogs run free. Good luck! You will have so many happy pups thanking you, just think of all the kisses!
