Did anyone ever go to the THS where she volunteers and ask about her?

myy only concern is that she has not responded to phone calls nor emails. she just isnt like that. if she were injured or worse, where are her dogs now? who would take care of them? perhaps a middle ground woudl be to talk to the local shelters to see if soemone turned them in??

oh poo, how did i miss that?! ok. i feel better. thanks! that was my biggest concern, the last thing she woudl want is for, regardless of her own personal state, to allow something to happen to her babies because her voice wasnt available anymore.

Well if I were given to swear I would say...OMG (I think... but I'll have to check what that means) ~

Can I just say that you are the most amazing people on Earth and that I am so (stupid word, I know) flattered that you would care that I am on the planet?

I hope these words are not overused in your mind but I will use them anyway, thank you.

Oh yes, we most certainly do.

There's a wonderful person, a real person, on the other side of that avatar and name. I hope you can understand the overwhelming sense of relief and happiness we all share knowing that you are ok .

Yes, you definitely need not to disappear again! Because you wouldn't want us to get arrested for stalking, would you?...

Thanks Frenchy ~ I knew as a good Quebecker you would be good for translating a "Catholic" curse .

I've just had the "courage" to read each of your posts in this entire thread. I say "courage" ~ that would be my ability to read without "getting something in my eye".

You are a loving, wonderful, crazy, mad sweet bunch of folks and I can't tell you how much I've missed you and thank you for welcoming me back.

Yabbut.. it's an age thing too.

Anyone can say "Mange - that starts with a M and ends with a de" but, there's only a select few on the planet who truly understand the bad, bad badness of a Tabernacle.

It's a Quebec thing, it's a Quebec-Catholic thing, it's a Canada thing, it's a "born between 1945 and 1975" thing ~ gosh only knows..

Some day I shall learn to swear like a sailor (written by Gilbert and Sullivan of course)

Thanks for the welcome Teri !

It's hard to believe but Ceili and Bridie, the wee little wiggins I could ~ literally~ hold in my palm when they came "home" are nine years old now...

Declan , I suspect is closer to 13 or 14 than the 10 I was told ~ and although a little slower and not nearly as able to get up on the bed, remains the best boyfriend I never had.

They are the best reason to "keep on keepin' on" any woman could want or need.

Well I am thrilled to know both you and the furries are all "keepin on" .

I know what you mean though about them sneaking up in age . My yellow lab Lucy is coming up to almost thirteen years old now and my black lab puppy Riley has somehow made it past two years old (and 100 pounds) when I wasn't looking .

It was so good to return to this site and see that you also came back the following day. I only left for about 3 months or so after Lukka passed away and I was missed by a few of the long time posters, however you MMM were really missed by everyone on this site. Your contribution to this forum is and has been so informative and although life sometimes gets in the way of computer forums I hope that you will be here as much as you possibly can. I missed you. Everyone missed you
