A hint of Spring?
The snow finally receded enough for us to resume walking the countryside after a few weeks of walking closed roads . . . .

Abby and Keeper, adventuring again:



Below, Abby leads the way on a stream melting from the top down.



Below, Keeper and bubbly spring ice:



Below, frozen to the bottom, this stream is unfreezing from the top . . . .



. . . . . . and revealing the treasures buried last Fall:



Below, Keeper explores the shores of Chain Lakes. In mid-April, we'll probably stop coming here until about mid-June, the ice turning dangerous but also we don't want any "accidents" with baby ducks and baby geese and babies in general which inhabit these shores in those months.

as always ure pictures are amazing rick I absolutely love the first one, and the shot of the lake unfreezing from the top....

These are astounding pictures and I enjoyed your comments as well. I will have to find your other threads to view more of your great photos..beautiful dogs. Abby and Keeper against the clouds in the first shot is my favorite.

Haha. . . . well ancientgirl, I was in Orlando last week for a business conference, and made the express run over to Daytona then down to West Palm and back to Orlando . . . . it was freakin' cold there last week!!!

You have a great eye and real talent for capturing such amazing photos. Of course, it helps when you have 2 very beautiful subjects to photograph!

Aww the girls are so happy to be back out & about on Their Trails

I like the 2nd shot Abby in the stream , Keeper on the shore

The leaf frozen in the stream is a great shot too

LOL, it was pretty cold down here, but it was very welcomed considering what awaits us in the Spring and Summer
